MASTER PLANNING

Each camp property is unique. Each camp program is unique. Therefore, we approach camp master planning as a collaborative process with our clients. We spend time with our clients to understand their mission and vision, and their future goals and aims.

Each master planning project begins with a thorough inventory of the camp, its property, facilities, and site. We interview key staff, campers, alumni, and stakeholders in order to best understand the experience of the camp, as well as past and present traditions.

We believe there is the unique opportunity for the master plan to reveal qualities, feelings, and characteristics about the camp that are otherwise invisible to the naked eye.

SITE & FACILITY DESIGN

Now more than ever, we need sites, structures, and facilities to be energy efficient, to provide safe and memorable experiences, and to be designed with the user in mind. We believe it is critical that camp sites and structures are thoughtfully designed to provide needed amenity, respite, and balance in our increasingly urban and complex lifestyles.

We have a significant level of experience in the camp field, including 27+ years of experience as an ACA volunteer and Accreditation Standards Visitor, and bring that experience to each of our planning, design, and consultation projects.
